Stelios Tatassopoulos directed this enjoyable film about two poor construction workers (Kostas Hadjichristos and Frangiskos Manellis) whose difficult life has not undermined their humanity or reduced the compassion in their hearts. Despite their own monetary woes, the men work even harder when they meet a young couple, helping them overcome their financial difficulties so they are able to marry and begin their lives together. Thanassis Vengos, Nikos Xanthopoulos, and Anna Mantzourani co-star with busy character actor Nikos Fermas.
