Originally telecast immediately after the two-hour season finale for Survivor: Marquesas, this reunion special is hosted by the inimitable Rosie O'Donnell. The festivities are held in New York's Central Park with the 16 castaways -- including Ultimate Survivor Vecepia Towery -- exchanging reminiscences and war stories. Since this special was aired "live" rather than on tape, viewers back in 2002 braced themselves for all sorts of vitriolic attacks, tear-filled confessions, and other such esoterica. In summary, however, a good time was had by all -- especially the executives at CBS, luxuriating in the best ratings Survivor had enjoyed in two years.
