Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Written and directed by Harry Macqueen, this British drama is about lifelong gay partners Tusker (Stanley Tucci) and Sam (Colin Firth) who embark on a road trip to travel across places in England, eventually ending in the holiday destination of Lake District. The couple then visits their family and friends, eager to interact with their loved ones. The couple also updates them about Sam’s condition—he was diagnosed with an early onset of dementia. They struggle to face the realities of this condition, as Tusker wants to let go of Sam, but Sam stubbornly sticks it out for love.
