In this Western programmer, Mary Anderson plays Janet Warned, who comes West to visit her brother Bill (Fred Burns). But while she is still on the train, she is kidnapped by notorious outlaw Captain Sunlight. Bill and his neighbor Jack Conway (Alfred Whitman, who had been billed in previous films as Alfred Vosberg), rescue her. Janet, for some reason, believes Jack to be Captain Sunlight, so she tries to turn him in, to the amusement of the sheriff's posse. The real Captain Sunlight, however, brings his band around to raid the ranches, which results in a fierce shootout. Janet saves the day by riding off and fetching the troops. Then she and Jack finish off the bandit together and end the film as a couple.
