Sun Over Sweden is a remake of an earlier Swedish film, made only a year or so before! The story concerns a brace of pretty salesgirls who take a biking vacation through the Scandinavian countryside. The girls meet a couple of eligible bachelors, and the inevitable romantic entanglements occur. Breaking up the predictability of the main plot are the comic antics of a bumbling auto mechanic, played by Nils Lundell. Reviewers outside of Sweden were underwhelmed by this antiseptic romantic comedy, though no one found fault with Hilmer Ekdahl and Sven Termaenius' splendid location photography.
