Synopsis by Kathryn Tamms

At the turn of the 20th century, steam trains were an integral part of life on a sugar plantation, transporting sugar cane from the fields to the mills and the sugar workers to their jobs. The restored steam locomotives of the Lahaina Kaanapali & Pacific Railroad let passengers relive those days as they make their way through scenic Maui, from the old whaling town of Lahaina, to the modern Kaanapali resort. Working sugar cane fields and stunning views of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean are among the highlights of this beautiful Hawaiian holiday video.
