Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The Style Network's answer to such long-running legal series as The People's Court, this nightly, 60-minute program forced defendants to "answer" for their bad style choices. These unfortunates were brought before Judge Henry Roth (actually an Australian-born designer, author, and DJ who sometimes performed as "Phat Waxy") by their friends, neighbors, and co-workers, then obliged to explain why they dressed so badly, decorated their homes so atrociously, and so on. The "sentences" were mild indeed: All the defendants had to do was agree to mend their clueless ways. Adding to the satirical tone of the enterprise was former People's Court regular Doug Llewelyn as the unctuous court reporter, and statuesque Swedish model Berling Icey as the handcuff-wielding bailiff. Style Court was first seen in the Summer of 2003.
