Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This German film attempts, in an indirect way, to tell the story of "The White Rose," a group of students in Nazi Germany who opposed the Nazi regime during World War II and who were executed for their efforts. In a similar fashion, the film also tries to reveal more current (1970s) student attitudes on political issues.
