Lu's day has a rough start when her clunker of a car gets rear-ended by a smooth-talking BMW driver (Grant Show) who has arrived in Philadelphia to make a fund-raising film about Rittenhouse Hospital. Later, an undercooked hamburger causes a severe case of food poisoning in a little girl; Andy takes on state-enforced sterilization; and Nick volunteers to marry his gay sister's uninsured girlfriend after she is diagnosed with lupus.
