Violence, neglect, and poverty reign in an inner city D.C. neighborhood, where three brothers and their single mother struggle keep their heads above water, and their bodies out of the local morgue. Though Dante and Eric, the eldest of the brothers, have tried their best to honor their mother's wishes and change their living situation honestly, they eventually come to a deadly conclusion -- the only way to get out of the ghetto fast is to join the drug trade.
