In this riveting drama written, directed by and starring 22-year-old Zephyr Benson, a gifted but depressed teenager looking for a family meets a drug dealer who welcomes him into his life. Deceived into believing that he has found the love he craves, the teen descends into a dark world of drugs, money and violence. Benson exposes the decidedly unglamorous world of the junkie way of life and makes it clear how easy it is to go from casual user to full-blown addict in the time it takes to empty a syringe.
