This touching and personal film explores how, from ice hockey to rugby and rodeo, gay men are discovering the bonds of acceptance and camaraderie through sports; in a world where hate and homophobia still persist. Growing up as the middle child in a strict Mormon family, Spencer Windes never found a place he felt truly comfortable. That all changed when he discovered the San Francisco Fog: a rugby team consisting entirely of gay men. Building on his own coming of age story, Windes discovers a whole diverse culture of gay amateur sports, and the wonderful and transformative impact that it has.
