Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
A young man returns home to his fishing village after spending time in the Navy. When he tries to teach the locals about new technological advances in fishing techniques, he is met with verbal and physical opposition. His brother's fiancee makes an amorous move on the ex-Navy man, and even though he spurns the woman, his brother goes after him with a knife. The obvious social commentary inherent in the film attempts to warn the parsimonious fishing industry to increase wages and predicts that their efforts could be lost is they fail to take advantage of modern fishing methods.
