Synopsis by Janiss Garza

When Diana Lester, a gambler's daughter (Ethel Clayton), meets Hugh Carlton (John Bowers), he gets her work as the companion to his sister (Louise deRigney). They fall in love, but Diana finds out Carlton is married and leaves. Carlton tracks her down, though, and explains that his wife won't live with him, nor will she give him a divorce. So Diana returns and they live together. The romance takes Carlton's time away from his duties as a member of Parliament. His sister points this out to Diana and asks her to leave. She does and becomes engaged to another man she knew from her days at the gambling hall, Phil Duran (Frank Mayo). But she becomes ill and starts asking for Carlton in her delirium. Carlton drops everything, including his career, to be by her side. Since his wife is finally willing to give him a divorce, Duran graciously drops out of the picture.
