Synopsis by Steven Yoder
Directors D.L. Anderson and Matthew Durning present the story of North Carolina gospel group The Branchettes as they record their first fully live album. Led by Lena Mae Perry, The Branchettes have been singing the gospel for over fifty years. Now, they intend to bring that message to the world through their recording. Punctuated by the health issues of their pianist Wilbur Tharpe, the group is determined that the album will capture the spirit of the fire inside that is faith.
