Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman

In this religious drama a teen girl (Lea van Acken) attempts to live up to the demands of a fundamentalist Catholic church and her controlling family while she is conflicted over her own desires and interests and longs to be close to God. The story unfolds in fourteen chapters, which are titled after the various "Stations of the Cross", detailing Christ's journey to his crucifixion. In this stylized film almost all the chapters utilize a fixed angle shot. Directed by Dietrich Brüggemann. Franziska Weisz, Florian Stetter and Lucie Aron also co-star.
