Synopsis by Forrest Spencer
In American history four U.S. Presidents have been killed at the hands of an assassin (Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, Jr. and John F. Kennedy). One President, Ronald Reagan, was shot by an assassin's bullet but survived his attacker. This program reveals that many other U.S. Presidents have been stalked and attempts against their lives have been thwarted through the course of history. This fifty-minute video profiles the individual assassinations and the men who changed the course of history with the discharge of a gun. This documentary uses archival photographs and footage, plus eyewitness accounts, to retell the stories of the days America mourned over the loss of its elected leader.
