Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
The reclusive owner of a cramped inner city bookstore finds herself plunged into a dangerous world of delusion and fantasy following the sudden reappearance of her emotionally-abusive ex-lover. When Isabelle isn't tending to the counter at her modest bookstore, she can usually be found hanging out at the local coffee shop, or on the phone, catching up with her foster-sister Jennifer. Her life has become a series of predictable routines when suddenly out of nowhere, her ex-boyfriend James appears drifting between the aisles of the bookstore. Meanwhile, as Isabelle gets caught up in her romantic fantasies, Jennifer grows increasingly concerned for her foster-sister's mental well-being. When the relationship takes a turn for the worse, Jennifer makes a cross country trip to reveal a shocking secret that will bring the walls of illusion crashing down all around.
