Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
An overly protective patriarch widens the generation gap in his own family in this dramatic feature. Rafe Crompton (James Mason) believes his family will be held together by the strict enforcement of his rules and regulations. His daughter Hilda (Susan George) refuses to go along with her father's wishes, which in turn upsets the entire family. The mother Daisy (Diana Coupland) is caught between the two strong-willed family members. Both father and daughter learn to make concessions in order to maintain family harmony.
