Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An up and coming J-pop group learns the hard way that it takes much more than a catchy tune to truly break big in a steamy look at the sordid side of the recording industry from producers Shiyuuta Biwajima and Chikara Niki. Saori is a beautiful and talented musician who no doubt possesses all the attributes of a musical superstar, and along with bandmates Yuna and Erica it seems like only a matter of time before the labels start to take notice of their hot new band Twinkle. In the sleazy record business though, it isn't so much about the music as it is about the sex, and after band manager Masaki gives Yuna and Erica a heated lesson in what it takes to become a star, Saori is assigned the task of convincing notoriously shady record don Kijima of her talent by any means necessary. Kijima isn't an easy one to please though, and if Saori doesn't pull out all the stops to prove that her band deserves a shot at fame first, her buxom and willing nemesis band The Lovely Ladies will most certainly reach the top of the charts before Twinkle does.
