Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Central Television's Sporting Triangles was one of several British game shows conceived in the image of the long-running A Question of Sport. On this occasion, three teams, each comprised of two famous sports figures, answered questions related to professional athletes. To keep things honest, the contestants were required to answer queries outside the realm of their own chosen sport. Hosted first by Nick Owen and then by Andy Craig, Sporting Triangles aired from 1987 to 1989.
