In this witty animated short subject from artist and filmmaker Rachel Urkowitz, a ball of string develops a life of its own and stretches itself into a spiral. The string spiral soon discovers there's another spiral on the scene that's made of paper, and it doesn't take long for a fight to break out. Spirals was screened in competition at the 2007 Rotterdam International film Festival.
