Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

In one of Universal's lesser action serials, B-Western villain Tom London plans to gain control of a travelling circus by marrying the owner's daughter, Maria Wallace (Alberta Vaughn. She, however, prefers Jack Grant (Francis X. Bushman, Jr., the show's daredevil Western rider. The evil London spends the remaining 9 chapters unsuccessfully attempting to "persuade" the pert Maria to see things his way. Sometimes billing himself Ralph Bushman, Francis X. Bushman, Jr. was the handsome son of an even more handsome silent screen matinee-idol. Francis, Jr. never managed to equal his father's amazing popularity and spent most of his 1920-1943 career in Poverty Row potboilers.
