Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Filmmaker Jim Mendiola's third DV feature spins a humanistic yarn concerning a San Francisco-based video artist who returns to her home in Texas. Following an unsuccessful attempt to pay back 45,000 dollars in debt by selling folk art door to door, videographer Amalia Ortiz steps back behind the camera after discovering local Chicano punk rockers Speeder. Inspired by their image and attitude, Cruz sees much potential in the young musicians and attempts to persuade them to go before her cameras for a documentary. Despite Ortiz's fixation on making a the film, the only thing Speeder seems to care about is getting a music video made.
