Synopsis by Alice Day
Life, as currently defined, has only been found on Earth. In Space Science in Action: Earth, science students will find out the reasons why this might be. The two young scientists-to-be, Malcolm and Stanley, look at how Earth possesses unique features that aren't found on the other planets of the solar system. Complex science concepts are explained in an easy-to-understand way, and the brevity of the films take into consideration the attention span of the age group from fifth through eighth grade. Many of the topics discussed in the series are springboards for science fair projects.
