Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Factory girl Annie Leigh (Emmy Wehlen) marries a millionaire's son, Earle Courtney (George Stuart Christie). Not surprisingly, his father, Major James Courtney (Frank Currier) disapproves. He kidnaps his son and sends Annie a wire saying it was all a mistake. Then he convinces Earle that Annie is dead so that he will marry a woman his father has picked out. A few years later, Annie brings her child to a motion picture studio that is looking for kiddie actors. However, the director is taken with Annie's looks, and before long she becomes a famous star. Meanwhile things haven't been going so well for the Courtney family -- the major has lost his fortune, and Annie buys the mortgage on his house. Earle is miserable with his arranged marriage, and when he finds out he was deceived by his father, he apologizes profusely to Annie. Conveniently, the wife elopes with another man, and Earle and Annie can be together.
