For 30 years, Martin Bisi has recorded music in his studio in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood. Having worked with counterculture legends such as Herbie Hancock, Sonic Youth, and Swans, the BC Studio became a staple of the New York underground art scene. SOUND AND CHAOS is an intimate portrait of a music studio, whose future is in question as the neighborhood faces the pressures of gentrification.
