Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Broker Henry Taylor (Hugh Thompson) is furious at the attention his wife Regina (Gail Kane) receives from Charles Bryant, an elderly bachelor (Edmund Breese). When he comes home one night and finds Regina in Bryant's arms, he orders him to leave. Bryant obliges, but he doesn't go away -- when the Taylors' daughter, Vivian (Dorothy Arnold), has a birthday, Bryant gives her a Shetland pony. Then Regina's extravagance eats through Taylor's money and he "borrows" stock from a client to make ends meet. The theft is discovered and Taylor is arrested. To save him, Regina gets the money from Bryant and tells her husband that it came from her actress friend, Sylvia Adams (Jackie Saunders). Taylor discovers the truth and berates Regina, who walks out on him. Taylor is convinced that she has gone to Bryant's, so he storms over there and shoots him. Although Bryant refuses to press charges, Taylor winds up in court anyhow and that's when the truth comes out -- Bryant is really Regina's father. He escaped from prison after being falsely accused of murder. It turns out that the real killer has since been found, so Bryant is a free man. Now that Bryant's identity is cleared up, Taylor and Regina reconcile.
