Synopsis by Gönül Dönmez-Colin
Sokkotanssi is a coming-of-age film about a child's faith. In the early 1960's in a small town by the sea lives a nine-year-old boy named Jontti whose head is full of questions: How much does a man's soul weigh? Is there life on other planets? He eats glow-worms because he wants to glow. His life changes completely when Lanki moves to the neighborhood and Jontti finds out that his father has another woman. Hiding his secret, he launches a tragicomic struggle to win back his father. Meanwhile, he experiences his own first love and comes to the understanding that every new answer often brings a dozen more questions.
