When the four mature men in this movie get back together, they can't help but reminisce about the palmy days of their youth when they were university students together. Their lives have gone stale, and they decide to drive together from Miami to Malibu, California. When they run out of money and lose the use of their credit cards, they discover that some of the values they shared back in the good ol' days still hold true today, and they wind up being far less self-centered than before.
