Synopsis

Host David McCollough visits America's largest airplane exhibit and a historian presents a new look at George Washington's life and his contributions to culture. The director of the National Museum of American History discusses a number of artifacts that Americans can view to better understand their heritage. One part of the program is spent reviewing church architecture. Finally, a trip is made to Fayetteville, NC, to learn how that town has sparked a rebirth of the finest aspects of the American spirit.
