Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The set of this British TV game show was dominated by a huge video screen. Each week, nine "typical" children appeared on that screen to answer general-knowledge and pop-culture questions posed by the producers. It was then up to three adult contestants to guess what the kids' answers would be. Hosted by comedian Ronnie Corbett ("And here's the star of the show -- me!"), Small Talk was seen over BBC from 1995 to 1997. An Australian version briefly surfaced in 1997, hosted by Jason Gunn.
