A standard pinku-eiga entry from prolific cult director Hisayasu Sato, this softcore melodrama centers on a successful female magazine editor with a handsome fiancé. The good-looking, successful couple seems to be the picture of happiness, until the young woman meets a kinky dentist who helps her to discover the pleasures of pain. Routine S&M scenes ensue, but because this is a Sato film, there is at least a semblance of psychological subtext amidst the various tortures. Rio Serizawa and Yutaka Ikejima star with Tori Asano and Kyoko Nakamura.
