Brian Mitchell and Joseph Nixon were both stars and writers of the risqué British sketch-comedy series Slightly Filthy. Because it was broadcast only in London, the series was permitted a lot more leeway in its choice of material than would have been the case if it had been beamed out to the rest of the U.K. The first of the series' four half-hour episodes was beamed out from the studios of London Weekend Television on April 20, 2001.
