Not every great basketball player in America can be found playing professional ball, or even at college level. Many major cities, such as New York and Chicago, have for years had playground leagues with neighborhood legends showing off jumps, shots, steals, and assists that would raise the roof at an L.A. Lakers or Chicago Bulls game (and in fact, some of the flashier moves of the NBA stars were lifted from well-known streetball players). Slam From the Street, Vol. 1: The Original is a documentary which finally gives props to some of the nation's greatest streetball stars, capturing their best moves on film, accompanied by a blazing hip-hop soundtrack.
