When police officer Adrian Torque was caught in a terrorist explosion, he lost half of his skin and some of his sanity. His lost skin was replaced with that of the tongues of the people who didn't make it out of the blast alive, and now his new flesh is feeling a phantom pain for the people who lost their lives. Ginny Chin-Chin is an assassin with a mission to find and kill the deranged doctor who implanted a clitoris under each of her eyelids, stimulating her past the point of madness and pain with each blink. Alik Silens is a computer hacker desperately searching the endless streams of data for her brother's killer. Now these three betrayed people will seek a bloody end either to their enemies or to themselves when they converge in a seedy S & M hotel.
