Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This British drama anthology consisted of six separate hour-long plays united by a common denominator. Each play featured a fellow named Black, who would show up as either a major or peripheral character from one week to the next. The entire series was written by British-Canadian journalist (and future indefatigable gay-rights activist) Peter Wildeblood, who also functioned as producer. Six Shades of Black aired courtesy of Granada Television in 1965.
