The 1965 film Six-Fingered Lord of the Lute concerns a married couple each trained in martial arts who argue over the best way to teach their son (played by Connie Chan Po-chu) the disciplines he will need in order to face a series of gender-bending bad guys capable of using an impressive variety of weapons. The son eventually takes on the most frightening of his foes, the lord of the lute, whose music stops anyone who hears it in their tracks.
