Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This Western starring William Russell was based on the novel by Jackson Gregory. A hotel has just been robbed when the towering Buck Thornton walks in. Because he is wearing a bandana like the one the bandit had on, he immediately becomes a suspect and has a hard time clearing himself. One who believes in his innocence is Winifred Waverly, a girl from the East (Vola Vale). Thornton accompanies her to her uncle's home, but the bandit shows up again when they stop at an empty cabin. Thornton goes off temporarily, and Winifred is robbed of some money in his absence. She thinks this is proof that Thornton really is the bandit after all and she takes off in a huff. The truth is that Ben Broderick (Al Garcia) is the man responsible for the robberies. He's part of a gang that includes the crooked sheriff, Cole Dalton (Clarence Burton), and Winifred's uncle, Henry Pollard (Charles French). Luckily for Thornton, a piece of Broderick's spur fell off the at cabin, and he is able to use this to track down the guilty parties.
