Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

An Eastern debutante (Corinne Griffith) will lose what is left of her inheritance, a secluded copper mine, unless a railroad can be built to transport the ore. The plucky girl heads West in the disguise of a waitress and, aided by a handsome construction engineer, manages to prevent an enemy from stealing her claim. Not exactly the outdoor type, the elegant Corinne Griffith would later be publicized by her home studio, First National, as "The Orchid Lady." She suffered a severe career set-back during the transition to sound and later filmed mostly in England. In her last years, the increasingly eccentric Griffith publicly denied ever having appeared in silent films but had instead been the stand-in for "the real Corinne Griffith," who she claimed had died in the 1930s!
