In this biographical film, Dean Reed reenacts the final days of his friend, Chilean folksinger Victor Jara. When the military rebelled against the regime of Salvador Allende in September 1973, many of his supporters, including Jara, died. The story as it is told is based on the recollections of the singer's wife and family who live in exile in London.
