This weekly, hour-long cable TV documentary series was similar in style and content to the Discovery Channel's 1997 effort CIA: America's Secret Warriors. Each episode profiled the highly trained men and women who participated in the elite and covert operations against the terrorist organizations of the world. The first episode focused on the bombing of the World Trade Center -- the first bombing, in 1993. Silent Warriors made its Discovery Channel bow on July 10, 2002.
