Synopsis by Gönül Dönmez-Colin
Signs of Life is a drama about a young woman who wanted to die but didn't quite make it. Told entirely from the central character's point of view, the film narrates the story of Sarah Ives, trapped in a body diagnosed as being in a persistent vegetative state. She can perceive what is going on around her, but she is unable to intervene. It is an intimate film about the will to live and the power of thought.
