Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Alvin Marston (Hobart Henley) returns from his honeymoon to find that his father, a wealthy trader, has mysteriously died, most likely killed by a Chinese tong leader. A blow on the head causes Alvin to lose his memory and he winds up incarcerated. To keep all this a secret from her friends, his wife Edith (Gertrude Selby) enlists the help of Chang (Henley again), who looks amazingly like Alvin. What she doesn't know is that Chang is an opium addict and Alvin's twin brother -- he was stolen from his family while they were in China and raised to hate Alvin. He finds his new situation a handy way to get vengeance, but Alvin escapes and regains his memory in time to keep Chang from harming Edith. Chang kills himself, but before he dies, he confesses all.
