Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The evidence of the title is the sort found during an archeological expedition. The heroine is a researcher who is talked into going on such an expedition by a mysterious stranger. Her curiosity aroused, she follows the stranger all the way to Mexico. Once at the excavation site, the woman discovers that her "benefactor"'s motives may not be scientific in nature. The 42-minute length of Sifted Evidence is a tipoff that the film was probably originally made for television.
