Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Des Doyle's documentary Showrunners takes an inside look at the people responsible for some of the many landmark television series that dotted the airwaves during a time many regard as the second golden age of television. He interviews such industry heavyweights as J.J. Abrams (Lost), Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire) and a writer on The Sopranos, Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica), and Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Each talks about how they brought their unique visions to television.
