Synopsis by Nathan Southern
The travelogue Ship to Shore inducts globe trekkers into the fun and wildly unpredictable adventure of touring the world by boat. The film offers live footage of twelve unique cruises that catalyze the at-home audience's wanderlust by carrying them to over 120 attractions and exotic activities around the world. Cruise ship veterans and first time sailors will be equally hooked. Highlights include snorkeling in the eastern Caribbean, just off the Martinique coast; gazing at Dutch windmills in rural Holland; shopping in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, Turkey; diving for sunken treasure in the Grecian waters; cresting the waves on a party-bound Caribbean boat; and window shopping in charming Bar Harbor, Maine, the "antique mecca" of the northeastern seaboard.
