Amidst the hustle of Trinidad's inner city, seventeen-year-old Sparkle (Onessa Nestor) dreams of leaving her traditionalist family's repressive household behind and expressing herself through dance. After encountering a group of wild and whimsical soca dancers at a car show, Sparkle works her way into their ranks, where she descends into the city's underworld of wealth, partying, and organized crime. Faced with two disparate paths, Sparkle must then make a significant choice if she is to remain true to herself. Co-written and directed by Maya Cozier.
