Synopsis by Hal Erickson

A presentation of the Women's Entertainment cable network, She House Cinema was a do-it-yourself program with a feminist slant. Much of the series dealt with the efforts of a band of women carpenters, designers, and others to construct a 2,500-square-foot waterview Long Island property. While the construction progressed, the viewers at home sent in their suggestions as to the best and most attractive home furnishings, with Sears Roebuck supplying some of the building materials and accoutrements in exchange for promotional consideration. She House Cinema first aired on July 11, 2003.
