Synopsis by Nathan Southern
In the educational video Shattered Dishes, produced and directed by Deborah Ellman, three real-life subjects, Rick, Kirby, and Darby - all young adult victims of familial breakups, sans any prior contact with one another - espouse their concerns, hopes, and difficulties that are products of their parents' divorces. They speak candidly and openly as they struggle to come to terms with their individual situations, but also reveal much by what is left unsaid. This video is designed to reach out to those of all ages who have experienced or are experiencing a divorce.
